Open your Audacity project, right in the browser
Drop an .aup3 file and keep working: tracks, clips, stereo pairs and labels arrive intact on a modern multitrack timeline. Your project never leaves your device.
How it works
Drop the .aup3
The project database is read locally: every track, clip position and label comes through.
Keep editing
Cut, move, fade, apply effects, reduce noise: everything Ressoara does, on your imported tracks.
Export anywhere
Render to MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG or FLAC, with loudness normalization if you want it.
Why Ressoara
Your work is portable
No exports from Audacity needed, no bouncing stems: the project file itself opens, edits and all.
Labels become markers
Audacity label tracks arrive as colored timeline markers. Chapters and notes survive the move.
Nothing is uploaded
The .aup3 is parsed in your browser with WebAssembly. Unreleased episodes stay private.
Frequently asked questions
Audio tracks with their clips and positions, stereo pairing (including Audacity 3.4+ projects), per-track gain/pan/mute/solo, label tracks and clip names as markers, and per-clip pitch/speed changes and volume envelopes, applied for real instead of approximated. Realtime effect chains and MIDI tracks don’t come through, and the editor tells you exactly what was left behind.
Projects saved by Audacity 3.x (.aup3). Older .aup folder projects should be opened and re-saved in Audacity 3 first.
No. An .aup3 is a SQLite database, and it is opened directly in your browser with WebAssembly. Nothing about the project travels anywhere: not the audio, not the labels, not even the track names.
