Terms of Use

Ressoara is a free audio editor that runs entirely in your browser. These terms set out what you can expect from us and what we ask of you. By using the site you agree to them, so we did our best to keep them short and readable.

01The service

Ressoara is a multitrack audio editor delivered as a web page. All audio processing happens locally, in your browser: the files you open are read by your own device and are not uploaded to our servers.

The service is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising. There is no account, no sign-in and nothing to buy: you open the page and start editing.

02Your audio and your projects

Everything you create or edit with Ressoara belongs to you. We claim no rights over your audio, your projects or your exports, and because processing is local, we never even see them.

You are responsible for having the necessary rights to the audio you work on (for example, music you did not record or license). Do not use Ressoara to infringe anyone's copyright.

03Local storage and backups

Ressoara autosaves your session inside your browser's own storage so you can pick up where you left off. That storage lives on your device, under your browser's control: clearing site data, private windows or low disk space can erase it.

Export your work, or save a project file, for anything you care about. Ressoara is not a backup tool, and we cannot recover work that existed only in your browser.

04Acceptable use

Use Ressoara lawfully and fairly. In particular, do not:

  • use the service for anything illegal, or to process audio you have no right to use;
  • probe, overload or disrupt the site or the ad systems that fund it;
  • scrape, frame or embed the editor in another product without written permission;
  • present Ressoara as your own service.

05Advertising

The free service is funded by ads served by third parties (such as Google AdSense). Ads are identified as such. See the Privacy Policy for how ad personalization and consent work.

06No warranty

Ressoara is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent allowed by law. We work to keep the editor fast and reliable, but we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor fitness for a particular purpose.

07Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages (including lost profits, lost data or lost recordings) arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. The service is free of charge and you pay us nothing for it, so where liability cannot be excluded it is limited to the minimum the law allows.

Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that your local law grants and that cannot be waived by contract.

08Changes

We may evolve, change or discontinue features, and update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes are reflected on this page, with the date above. Using the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

09Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, where the service is operated, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
