Privacy Policy

Ressoara was built local-first: your audio is processed by your own browser and does not touch our servers. This policy explains what little data is involved in running the site, and the choices you have about it.

01Your audio never leaves your device

When you open, record, edit or export audio, everything happens inside your browser, using its built-in audio engine. Audio files are not uploaded, streamed or copied to us. We have no access to them, ever.

There is no cloud storage and no sync: your projects live in your browser, not on our servers. If that ever changes, it would be strictly opt-in and this policy would be updated before it launches.

02What is stored on your device

The editor keeps working data in your browser's local storage: autosaved sessions, decoded audio caches, and preferences such as language and theme. This data stays on your device. You can wipe it at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser settings.

03What we collect

There is no account and no sign-in, and the site does not ask you for personal data. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) produces standard server logs (IP address, browser identification, requested URL) used for security and operations and retained briefly.

If we adopt analytics, we favor privacy-friendly, cookie-less tools that count visits without profiling individuals.

04Advertising

The free editor is funded by ads (for example, Google AdSense). Ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads and, where you consent, to personalize them. Where required by law (such as the EEA and UK), a consent prompt lets you accept or refuse personalized ads.

You can also manage ad personalization at Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) and at aboutads.info/choices. Ads never have access to your audio.

05Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with the processors that make the site work: hosting (Vercel) and advertising (Google), each under their own privacy terms.

06Your rights (GDPR / LGPD)

Depending on where you live (including under the EU's GDPR and Brazil's LGPD) you have the right to access, correct, delete and port personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority (in Brazil, the ANPD).

Since we hold almost nothing about you, most requests are simple: write to the contact address at the end of this page and we will respond.

07Children

The service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

08Changes

We will update this page as the product evolves; the date at the top reflects the latest revision.
